Hi , Celeste here !
It’s almost time again for our annual farm Harvest Festival. I have been preparing since August as you can see in the barn all the beautiful flowers hanging. You are welcome to help me prep too by harvesting extra bundles of our drying flowers. Here is the list of flowers we use for the wreath workshop incase you want to help :
Feverfew
Strawflower
Statice
Scabiosa Stellata
Nigella
Marigold
Gomphrena
Grass ( Frosted Explosion)
Celosia
Basketflower
Lavander

If you end up harvesting some flowers and I am not around you can just leave them in the wash station or give them to Seda.
I also want to give a huge shoutout to Seda for tending the flower field in my absence; she did and still does an amazing job every single day. Save the Date for November 16th from 10:00am to 3:00pm .
We will have a sign up sheet weeks before the event for you to secure your time slot for the wreath workshop. ( You must bring your own clippers )
Remember we will have Sarah’s pumpkin pie and other refreshments and snacks ; your family and friends are welcome .
If you want to bring your furry friend remember to always keep them in a leash .

Cucumber Pico de Gallo, https://www.threelittlechickpeas.com/cucumber-pico-de-gallo/
½ cucumber, small dice (1 ¼ cups diced)
2 tomatoes, small dice (about 1 ¼ cups diced)
½ jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed, finely diced
¼ cup finely diced red onion
1 garlic clove, crushed or minced
½ cup of loosely packed fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, or to taste
¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
Dice the cucumber and tomatoes into small equal sizes.
Finely dice the red onion and jalapeño even smaller than the tomatoes and cucumber.
Crush or mince the garlic and chop the cilantro.
Mix the cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeno, garlic, and cilantro with the lemon juice, and salt.
Taste and adjust for seasoning.
Let the pico rest for at least 15 minutes and toss, but resting for an hour is better.
